Officials at the Nurburgring have announced that they are to re-name turns 8 &9 from the “Audi S” to the “Schumacher S” in honor of seven-time World Champion, Michael Schumacher.

It’s not a corner that I particularly associate with Schumacher, so it’s slightly odd that they are doing this. Now - were La Rascasse at Monaco to be renamed “the Michael Schumacher Car Park” then I could see the relevance.
